We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Radiographer/Dosimetrist to join the Dosimetry Team at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), working within our cutting-edge Radiotherapy and Proton Therapy Physics department.
Key Requirements:
• State Registration or equivalent professional qualification.
• Clinical background with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Experience with Varian Eclipse treatment planning system is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, supporting our hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing photon and/or proton treatment plans for a diverse and complex case mix, including sarcoma, head and neck, neurological, and paediatric cancers. They will actively participate in multidisciplinary team discussions, providing expert advice and contributing to the development of optimal treatment options tailored to individual patients. In addition, they will be involved in the training of students and other staff members in treatment planning techniques.
The postholder will support the Senior dosimetrists in ensuring treatment planning pathways are delivered in an efficient and timely fashion across the radiotherapy and proton therapy services. They will support the development of new and existing techniques including production of the standard operating procedures and training competencies for staff.
