Caretaker Vacancy – Primary School in Leyton (One-Form Entry)
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our warm and friendly one-form entry primary school in Leyton. This is a key role in helping us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and community.
Position: School Caretaker
Location: Leyton, London
Contract: Full-time, year-round (with some flexibility for holiday work)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the security, cleanliness, and general upkeep of the school site and grounds
• Carry out minor repairs and practical maintenance tasks
• Oversee deliveries and manage stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Ensure health & safety standards are consistently followed
• Support the smooth daily operation of the school, including opening and closing the site

• Has practical maintenance/DIY skills
• Can work independently and as part of a team
