Summary

Job OverviewWe are looking to recruit a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll provide essential support to our pupils, either through focused one-to-one support or by assisting with the specific needs of individuals. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the early educational journey of our youngest learners.Contract and Salary DetailsHours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only (190 days)Grade: 4, Scp 5-7, £18,892 - £19,498 per annum (actual salary)Fixed-term position until 27 March 2026Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will:Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with school procedures encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
Support the academic, social, emotional and development of individuals and groups of pupils understanding clearly how pupils learn.
Provide effective support to maximise attainment and accelerate the progress of individuals and groups of pupils.
Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes when necessary.
Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress towards academic, social, behavioural and learning skills.
Liaise closely with appropriate staff in relation to safeguarding, behaviour, SEND needs and wellbeing issues.
