About the RoleAs a Carbon Specialist, you’ll be responsible for building and embedding best practice carbon management across the Sizewell C project. This is an exciting role, ideal for someone with a background in sustainability and change management who thrives on influencing others and driving behavioural change.Your key responsibilities will include:Leading the development and improvement of our Carbon Management System in line with PAS 2080.Designing and delivering carbon awareness campaigns and training programmes.Translating complex carbon strategies into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.Collaborating with internal teams and supply chain partners to embed low-carbon thinking into everyday practices.Supporting sustainability reporting and sharing success stories across the project. What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone with: 3–5 years’ experience in a similar carbon/sustainability role.A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Communications, Education, or a related field is desirable but not essential if you hold relevant experience.Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.Experience working with major infrastructure projects (e.g., HS2, National Highways, National Grid, or consultancies such as Atkins, Mott MacDonald, etc.).A passion for sustainability and the ability to inspire change.
