A Vacancy at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical care for the patients on Hazelwood Ward. The unit is an organic ward, with male and female patients suffering from predominantly functional disorders such as depression and schizophrenia.
· Undertake assessments of new/current patients on the ward.
· Diagnose and formulate management plans in complex presentations.
· Provide management in treatment resistant and complex presentations
· Assessment and management of risk including of vulnerability, suicide risk, risks to health and safety and risk of harm to others.
· Preparation of reports for governance related activities, whether it be for hearings or meetings.
· Work in a collaborative way with multidisciplinary teams including external partners. The MDTs has additional admin support, along with senior pharmacists, occupational therapists, advocates, psychologists, in additional to other professionals.
· Work in partnership with psychiatrists from partner providers such as Liaison services, Home-base Treatment Team, and Community Services.
