The Importance of the Role:
As a National Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening key client relationships. Your expertise in identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts will be instrumental in helping Restore Datashred maintain its position as a trusted market leader. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the company’s success while contributing to our ongoing commitment to innovation, security, and sustainability.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Grow your assigned sales region year-on-year through new business, cross-selling and strategic account management
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying prospects and updating opportunities in the CRM system
- Deliver regular sales reporting to your manager, including activity updates and customer progress
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients
- Develop effective account plans that demonstrate a clear understanding of customer needs and next steps in the sales cycle
- Act as a business consultant, using commercial insight to provide profitable solutions aligned to the customer’s goals
- Build long-term, collaborative relationships with customers and internal teams to maximise growth
- Drive sales activity with urgency, ensuring opportunities move quickly through the pipeline to closure
About you:
- Proven experience as a National Business Development Manager, ideally within a B2B or Waste / Recycling Industry
- Strong commercial awareness and sound business judgement
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and apply data effectively
- A self-starter with a proactive and positive approach to driving results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently to achieve targets
