About the Role
We current have a vacancy for this role which involves assisting with the building, configuring and commissioning of Laptops, Desktop PCs, tablets and other equipment across the city. This forms part of a continual programme of replacement / upgrading of IT equipment as well as specific requests for new equipment. The successful candidate will be expected to work to the highest standards ensuring that customer expectations are, wherever reasonable, not just met but exceeded.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of engagement
- Experience of installing and maintaining all versions of Microsoft Windows operating system
- Experience of working with Microsoft products, such as MS Teams, MS Office, SCCM, MS Intune etc
- Experience of IT Support in a fast-past enterprise environment
- Proven ability to troubleshoot software and application problems; install upgrade patches and hot fix's
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
