Salary: £25,905 - £26,111 (pro-rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 12 per week, 39 weeks sessional

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team, to contribute to the continuing development and delivery of high-quality education at the school. The candidate must be able to evidence their experience of working with Primary-aged pupils with identified Additional Support for Learning needs.

The working hours are Mondays and Tuesdays 8.30am to 3.15pm (less unpaid breaks).

Star of the Sea is a denominational primary school built in 1920, which serves the Leith area of North-East Edinburgh. The catchment area comprises of a combination of private, housing association and council housing to ensure a good social mix amongst the pupils. For session 2025-26 we have 12 classes with a school roll of approximately 320 and a nursery class of 28 children.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
