What you'll do
- Set up and operate 5 Axis CNC laser cutting machines to meet production specifications.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining and fabrication.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery, including press brakes, CNC lathes, and plasma cutters, to support various manufacturing processes.
- Conduct assembly tasks as required, ensuring all components meet the highest standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
- Experience in the operation of 3 Axis lasers is essential
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for precise machining.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material requirements.
Shift Pattern
- We are currently operating a day shift 07:30-16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:30-14:00 Friday, however you will be expected to work on a rotating shift basis to meet business requirements, therefore flexibility with hours is essential
- Overtime paid at premium rates after 39 hours per week.
