Summary
Job Description
To assist me to provide daily care for my son.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Feeding
• Bathing, nappy changing and dressing
• Setting up and putting away specialised equipment
• Accompany me to appointments, days out and to nursery with my son
• Playing and interacting with my son
• Regulate, calm and reassure my son if he becomes distressed
• Meal preparation
Specific Requirements
• Empathetic, compassionate and caring person
• Reliable and flexible approach to days/hours of work
• Experience of working with disabled children
• Driver preferred
Required Training
• First Aid
• Food hygiene
• DBS checked- can be done once been accepted for the role.
• Health and Social Care Diploma (desirable but not essential)
About Me
My son is 4 years old and has Cerebral Palsy. He will soon be starting back at nursery. He has limited mobility and requires constant supervision.
