Location: Burrowbridge, Somerset
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Job Type: Temp to Perm, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:15am – 6:00pm
We’re recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a friendly and hardworking team based in Burrowbridge. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with consistent hours and supportive colleagues.
The Role:• Picking customer orders accurately
• Packing and preparing goods for dispatch
• Unloading deliveries and managing Goods In
• Checking, stock replenishment, and load consolidation
• Shredding cardboard and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
• Reliable and takes pride in their work
• Comfortable working on their feet throughout the day (8,000–10,000 steps daily)
• Accountable and responsible in their approach to tasks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and positive attitude toward work
• Own transport is essential due to rural location (approx. 20 minutes from Taunton and Bridgwater)
Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential – we’re more interested in finding someone with a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well within a small, dedicated team.
This role offers great variety, a welcoming environment, and the potential to move into a permanent position.
