Job Description
To lead and manage the Administration Teams within Growth, Planning and Climate , including statutory responsibilities, Regulations and budgetary responsibilities.
Provide secretarial and personal assistant support to the Head of Growth, Planning and Climate (Chief Planning Officer), administer the corporate complaints procedure, FOI requests and co-ordination of Non Planning Application Committee Reports.
Requirements
To be responsible for the leadership, management and co-ordination of the functions of the Administration Teams within Growth, Planning and Climate , including statutory responsibilities, Regulations and budgetary responsibilities.
Provide confidential secretarial/personal assistant support to the Head of Growth, Planning and Climate (Chief Planning Officer).
Administer the corporate complaints procedure and FOI requests for Growth, Planning and Climate .
Co-ordinate, transcribe and assemble papers and reports for Council and various Committee, as required.
Provide a level of research and information service for Head of Growth, Planning and Climate (Chief Planning Officer).
In consultation with the Systems Manager, develop, maintain and review administrative procedures and functions within the Administration Teams.
Ensure appropriate recruitment procedures are followed for all Growth, Planning and Climate posts.
Make decisions on Administrative matters.
Contributing to the effectiveness of the Service.

Recognised qualifications for secretarial studies e.g. RSA I, RSA II, SVQ 3/HNC or demonstrable equivalent experience*

Grade 7, £34,778.25 or £18.45 per hour.
36.25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
