Summary
Butchery Team Leader
Location: CKs Distribution Warehouse, Embankment Road Llanelli, Carmarthenshire,SA15 2BT
Salary: £35,100 + Pension, Free parking and In house Canteen
Shift Pattern: 45 hours/week over 5 days (Days and Lates)
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays
Role Overview
A hands-on leadership role in a meat processing production department within our distribution centre. You’ll oversee daily butchery operations, lead a team of skilled butchers and operatives, and support the production managers to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production lines.Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the butchery team to maintain high standards of productivity and quality
Ensure all meat processing and cutting operations meet safety and hygiene regulations
Manage production schedules and workflow to meet targets
Maintain equipment and ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently
Promote a culture of compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Candidate Requirements
Supervisory or management experience in a butchery or food production environment
Strong understanding of meat processing and food safety standards
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
Commitment to operational excellence and quality assurance
