Mitie is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in a high-paced aviation environment. This is a hands-on role requiring full engagement, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. To be considered for this role you must have a full UK drivers licence and access to your own reliable car. More details will be shared during the interview, but here's what you need to know:
Shift days and times and pay
-4 on 4 off night shifts working 19.00-07.00
-£13.58 per hour paid monthly
-20 days annual leave

What You'll Be Doing:
-Work alongside colleagues to secure cargo as it arrives into the UK
-Maintain accurate logs and reports to support investigations and compliance
-Stay alert to potential threats and act swiftly to minimise disruption
Training & Development
-Complete all required training and stay current with changes in legislation
-Participate in ongoing development to enhance your skills and career progression
-Ensure timely renewal of your SIA licence (minimum 16 weeks before expiry)
What You'll Need
-Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
-Previous experience in a security role (aviation or logistics experience a plus)
-Strong attention to detail and a calm, confident approach
-SC Clearance desirable (or willingness to undergo vetting)
-A proactive mindset and ability to follow procedures precisely
