Hours: 37 per week

Rate: PAYE £13.26 per hour | Limited/Umbrella £16.84 per hour

About the Role
Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking a MARAC Co-ordinator to provide short-term sickness cover within the Environment & Housing Services team. This vital role ensures the effective co-ordination of the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and the target hardening process, supporting victims of domestic abuse and safeguarding vulnerable individuals across the Vale.

You will act as the first point of contact for professional bodies, ensuring MARAC procedures are administered effectively and that all documentation, tracking systems, and reporting are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and co-ordinate MARAC procedures in line with operating protocols.

Arrange, co-ordinate, and attend MARAC meetings.

Develop and maintain tracking systems for MARAC cases, actions, and recommendations.

Co-ordinate the target hardening service for victims of domestic abuse.

Provide cover for the Domestic Abuse, Assessment and Referral service when required.

Collect, review, and produce accurate performance management reports.

Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and information-sharing policies.

Liaise with council officers, partner agencies, voluntary sector organisations, and members of the public.

Report safeguarding concerns promptly and adhere to Health & Safety regulations.

About You
We’re looking for a professional who is:

Experienced in multi-agency working, ideally within community safety, housing, or domestic abuse services.

Highly organised, with strong administrative and co-ordination skills.

Confident in liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.

Knowledgeable about safeguarding, data protection, and equal opportunities policies.

Able to work independently while contributing to wider team objectives.
