We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative / Driver to support our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and supplying raw materials and finished goods to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery. This role involves working closely with production teams, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding health and safety standards within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, components, and supplies.
• Prepare and supply materials to production lines in a timely and accurate manner.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch finished products according to customer and production schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and undertake regular stock takes.
• Load and unload deliveries safely using forklifts or pallet trucks (if qualified).
• Ensure all goods are stored correctly, labelled, and traceable.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Report shortages, damages, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
• Help with production tasks in the warehouse.
• Deliver goods to customers using company vehicle and other general driving duties as required.
Skills & Requirements:
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good understanding of stock control and material handling.
• Ability to follow production schedules and prioritise workloads.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Forklift licence desirable.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move goods safely.
• Good PC knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Clean driving license
