Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Site Manager you'll coordinate and supervise the site and be the go-to person on the ground, you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly from day one through to final sign-off.
You'll lead daily site operations, managing operatives, subcontractors, and work activities. Develop and implement safety and quality documentation (CPPs, SQPs, RAMS). Conduct inspections per ITPs and ITCs, ensuring compliance and quality.

You'll oversee Temporary Works, coordinating with the Temporary Works Coordinator. Monitor site performance in Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards. Liaise with civil design teams to review constructability and raise technical queries.

You'll chair coordination meetings and lead weekly safety walks. Manage procurement, cost control, and resource efficiency on site. Plan and programme works, reporting progress and variations to the project team. Compile handover documentation, including As-Built drawings and records.
What you’ll bring

- CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
- Temporary Works Supervisor
- Background in construction and water industry
- Knowledge of NEC contracts & cost/value reporting exposure
- IT skills – particularly in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- A high degree of manual dexterity and happy to working outdoors in all weathers and confined spaces!
- Full driving licence
