The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking consultancy. You’ll play a key role in the delivery of a diverse range of projects, taking ownership of cost management and contract administration tasks while mentoring junior team members.

The role offers autonomy, career development, and exposure to both pre- and post-contract work within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting across multiple projects
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, tender documentation, and procurement strategies
- Oversee contract administration, valuations, and final account settlements
- Lead client meetings and liaise with design and project teams
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Assistant QS team members
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management

Essential Requirements

- BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience within a consultancy or main contractor environment
- Strong technical knowledge of cost management and construction contracts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ambition to progress professionally (RICS chartered or working towards chartership)
- Eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid UK driving licence

Desirable

- Experience in residential and mixed-use developments
- Proficiency in software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or MS Excel
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
