Our client, a well-respected educational institution in Salford, Greater Manchester, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary to thrive in their learning environment.

As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with diverse needs. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, as well as facilitating small group activities to promote inclusive learning and social development. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs, along with a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or an equivalent. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt curriculum materials and resources to meet individual student needs
- Support students in developing social skills and promoting positive behaviour
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to support

Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
- Proven experience working with children and young people with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
