Part Time Teaching Assistant - Primary & SEN Support
Location: Failsworth, Greater Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £102 per day
We're currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic part time Teaching Assistant's to join a welcoming school in the Failsworth area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's education while developing your experience in both mainstream and SEN support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required.
- Providing additional support to children with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Assisting the class teacher in preparing resources and classroom activities
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to provide a minimum of 2 professional references covering the last 2 years
