Our client, a leading education provider in West Sussex, is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Part-time STEM Tutor to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects to students in Key Stage 1 and 2 within an Alternative Provision setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in STEM subjects and have experience working with children in an educational setting. They should be able to adapt their teaching style to meet the unique needs of students in Alternative Provision, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

As a Part-time STEM Tutor, you will collaborate with other members of the educational team to develop and implement personalised learning plans for each student. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of student progress, communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in STEM education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate STEM lessons to students in Key Stage 1 and 2
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans based on individual student needs
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other members of the educational team
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in STEM education

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in Alternative Provision
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 STEM curriculum
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching style to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
