Summary

- Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role

Key responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to an assigned student with special educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans
- Adapt lesson materials and facilitate small group activities
- Monitor and report on student progress, communicating regularly with teachers and parents
- Assist with personal care needs, as required
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Essential qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of special educational needs and inclusive teaching practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable qualifications and experience:
- Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or a related field
- Experience working with students with specific learning difficulties or disabilities
- Training in first aid, manual handling, or other relevant areas
