Summary
Our client, a leading education provider in Barons Court, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-time SEMH Teacher to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of £200 to £235 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. - Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, including educational psychologists, therapists, and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Regularly assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies to maximise learning outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress, behaviour, and interventions
- Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to foster strong partnerships and support networks
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in SEMH education
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably within a school setting
- In-depth understanding of SEMH challenges and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
