Summary

Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support

Location: Nottingham (NG11)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm | Term-time only
Start Date: ASAP

Role

We're looking for a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Nottingham, supporting on a 1:1 basis.

The school, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is known for its calm, inclusive, and supportive environment-an ideal setting for both students and staff to thrive.

In this role, you'll provide tailored behavioural and learning support to help one student settle into school life, build confidence, and stay engaged in lessons. You'll also assist in the classroom more broadly when needed, ensuring a positive and productive learning experience for all.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 support, helping them regulate behaviour, manage transitions, and stay focused in class

Requirements

Experience supporting young people, ideally within a school, SEN, or behavioural support setting
