Fawkes & Reece are hiring for a Freelance Site Manager for a Social Housing retro-fit scheme in Witney, Oxford. The scheme consists of works on Solar Panels, Loft Insulation, Cavity Walls. The project is starting on 17th/24th November and the contract runs until January 2026, no fixed end date.
What you'll do as a Freelance Site Manager:
- Manage daily activities for retro-fit on solar panels, loft insulation, cavity walls.
- Ensure project is completed in line with standards
- Manage subcontractors and labour teams
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Conduct daily site inspections
- Co-ordinate daily with residents and tenant liaison officer
Required Qualifications/Experience for the Freelance Site Manager:
- Experience on social housing schemes - preferably retro-fit
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
- UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Pay + Benefits
- Day rate
- £230 to £270 per day - NEGOTIABLE
- Weekly pay on a Friday
