Summary
We are currently seeking a Group Manager to lead and develop our Fostering Service. Hull Fostering is the largest fostering agency in the area supporting over 300 foster carers both mainstream and kinship carers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking local authority at a time of positive change and innovation. We are looking for a committed and ambitious individual who is passionate about promoting the future of our children and young people. You will be a valued part of an experienced and confident team where there is ongoing leadership development and support.
About the Role
As Group Manager, you will:
· Lead the Fostering Service with a clear focus on quality, performance, and outcomes.
· Build strong professional relationships across the council and with city-wide partners.
· Champion a culture of openness, respect, and collaboration.
· Support and supervise staff to create an environment where practice can flourish.
· Contribute strategically to local, regional, and national developments in fostering.
What We’re Looking For:
· A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
· Extensive experience in fostering and proven leadership in a social care setting.
· Confidence in managing performance and driving high standards of practice.
