Crynodeb

Here at the University of Greater Manchester, we are proud of our growing reputation as a student-focused university and we are committed to offering our students the best experience possible. Due to our ongoing growth, we are now looking for a Senior Marketing Officer to join our Division of Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions team.

Are you a creative and strategic marketing professional with a passion for student recruitment? Do you want to play a key role in shaping the university’s presence, attracting the best talent, and making a real impact on prospective students’ lives? If so, we want to hear from you!

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Marketing and Recruitment Officer to lead and deliver high-impact marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels. You will develop engaging content for multiple platforms, build strong relationships with schools, colleges, and agents, and ensure all marketing activity reflects the university’s brand values, tone of voice, and recruitment goals.

As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to strategic planning, and drive initiatives that increase student recruitment and engagement.

What We Offer
We ask a lot from our staff, but in return, you will receive a competitive benefits package including access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, an employee benefits scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement. As a small university, you will have opportunities to work with colleagues across campus to support and deliver the best student experience possible.

A dynamic and collaborative working environment.

The opportunity to shape the university’s student recruitment strategy.

Professional development and career growth opportunities.

The chance to work on high-profile campaigns, engaging with a diverse range of audiences.

About You

Significant experience in marketing, recruitment, or communications, ideally in higher education.

Strong digital marketing skills, including content creation, social media management, and campaign analysis.

Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver successful marketing initiatives.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Creative, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work while promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
