We are looking for an experienced Development Manager to lead and deliver our development programme by providing a project management approach from conception to completion. Salary: £47,500
Contract: Permanent, Full time 35 hours per week
Location: Walter Road, Swansea and remote working.
You will need a Full UK Driver's Licence.

About the role
As a Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in our Development and Growth Department. Working closely with the Head of Development and Director of Growth and Development. You will:
Manage housing development projects from inception to completion, including land acquisition, design and build, and turnkey schemes.
Lead strategic planning, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
Identify and assess development opportunities, ensuring feasibility and compliance.
Secure funding and navigate planning and regulatory processes.
Monitoring existing leases and lead lease renewal process as required.
Line manage Development Officers, supporting their growth and performance.
About you
As a Development Manager you will help us to deliver high-quality, sustainable homes.
What you’ll bring to Caredig:
Proven experience in project management and housing development.
Formal advanced level qualification relevant to the construction and/or property development industry.
Knowledge of contract management and legal aspects of development.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage budgets and timelines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
We welcome previous experience working as a Development Officer, Project Manager, Property Development Manager, Construction Manager, Regeneration Manager. Transferable skills from roles including housing, construction, or property development are highly valued.
