Summary
Join Caredig as an Estates Assistant/Night Concierge and make a real difference in the lives of our tenants, helping to create a welcoming, supportive environment for tenants. Based at Maes Mwldan, Cardigan working 16 hours per week as part of the Estates Team, shifts are flexible including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. You will provide grounds maintenance and communal cleaning to a high standard. The Night Concierge cover is an important role within our Maes Mwldan Older Persons scheme, Cardigan. The position has responsibility for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants and staff.

Additional pay on Christmas Bank Holiday
Full UK driving license required

About the role
The Estates Assistant/Night Concierge role includes:
Maintaining landscaped and communal areas around the premises.
Carry out health and safety checks including Fire Alarm and equipment checks.
Identify, report, monitor repairs to the Property Services Team. Carry out minor repairs via handyman service at the scheme.
Securing the premises and personnel by patrolling the building; monitoring surveillance equipment and access points; permitting entry.
About you
To work at all times in a positive, cooperative and supportive manner, contributing to service improvements.
Grounds maintenance and gardening knowledge and experience.
Understanding of basic health and safety precautions required when carrying out cleaning duties.
Ability to work to a high standard unsupervised.
