Do you want to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation that works to provide housing and tenancy related support to single people with Mental Health issues?

Our Mental Health service is currently looking for a Support Officer to join our dynamic team in Sittingbourne.

We’re looking for a motivated, flexible, committed individual who is passionate about empowering and supporting service users with mental health needs to achieve their recovery goals and take steps towards greater independence. Archer House provides homes and support for people living with complex mental health needs. The support we provide is focused on recovery, with people staying an average of three to five years.

Our aim is to support service users to develop their confidence, skills and resilience in order to improve their quality of life. We use a co-production model to achieve this where service users and staff work together as equal partners and service users are actively engaged with planning, shaping and influencing the service they receive.

You’ll work collaboratively with service users to design and deliver person-centred support plans, complete risk assessments, and help individuals achieve their goals, from daily living skills to moving on to independent living. This is developed from an initial Care Needs Assessment that is completed by their allocated Social Worker and reviewed regularly.

You’ll also connect with social workers, occupational therapists, families and community partners to enhance the support we offer and help shape a truly co-produced service.

If you’re passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.

As you can imagine, the full job description includes lots more detail, so please check it out before applying.

At Clarion Housing Group, we support the responsible use of AI.

Closing Date: Wednesday 26th November 2025 at midnight.

Interviews will be held on either 9th December or 11th December 2025.

Applicants must be able to travel across the region as required.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Adult plus barred list criminal record check clearance.
