Pinnacle Group are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team. As part of a small team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely management accounting information across multiple cost centres, divisions and subsidiaries. The role holder will play a pivotal part in helping that expansion assisting with the provision and interpretation of high-quality management accounting information. This is a demanding role and will develop over time as the Team expands
Our Finance Team is part of our Central Services, providing expert support to all areas of the business. They help ensure our operations run efficiently, embrace best practice and stay financially strong – enabling our teams to deliver on our mission to Transform Communities and Change Lives.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or currently studying, with strong IT skills and experience using accounting software packages. You will be hardworking, resilient, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle large volumes of data are essential, along with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days in our Holborn Office and 3 days remotely.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Month-end close processing, journals, and preparation of accurate monthly management accounts
- Analysis and commentary on results for multiple cost centres/divisions, highlighting variances to budget
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, and deferred revenue
- Daily cash flow reporting and monitoring
- Supporting annual budget and audit processes
- Providing reliable reporting and ad-hoc information to operational management
- Driving process improvements across finance and operations
Key Requirements:
- AAT qualified or currently studying
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge and practical use of accounting software packages
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
