Summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated Night Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be joining our Facilities Cleaning Team based at University of Hertfordshire.

Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping and vacuum cleaning, emptying bins, washing, dusting and polishing surfaces. Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors.We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently – helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.

This is a full time role with varying shifts of 10.30PM-04.30AM Monday-Friday, 7PM-01.30AM Saturdays and 9PM-3.30AM Sundays.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cleaning, sweeping, mopping and vacuum cleaning, emptying of bins, washing, dusting and polishing surfaces, including floors, walls, tables, cleaning of toilet areas, to include replenishing of toilet rolls, soap and hand towels
  • To monitor the cleaning cupboards as well as all the equipment used by the cleaning team
  • To ensure all works carried out are completed on time and with due observation to appropriate Health & Safety requirements
  • To follow the agreed cleaning schedule
  • Be proactive and able to spot areas that need improving and rectify cleaning defects


Key requirements:

  • Ability to work to laid down schedules
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
  • Previous experience of cleaning services desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of the use of chemicals (COSHH) and Health and Safety legislation is desirable but not essential
