Summary

About the Role
This role is part-time, reduced year: 35 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
The actual pro rata salary for this role is £21,519 per annum.
The 14+ Academies at Leeds City College are looking for a passionate and personable individual to support our learners in a Learning Support role.
The post holder will work closely with all staff in a wide-ranging role designed to help our learners’ progress during lessons.

    Put in place interventions for whole groups or individual learners to help and support learners both academically and developmentally, often in conjunction with the relevant Head of Year.
    To work within the 14+ Academies ethos and culture as well as using relevant tools and concepts such as the effort descriptors and APLs (Academy Progress Levels).
    Update, reflect and maintain the 14+ Academies tracking systems continuously, allowing you to recognise the need for interventions and subsequently putting them in place.
    Form meaningful and impactful relationships quickly.
    Work positively and effectively as a member of a team and on own initiative.
    About You
    Experience and knowledge of supporting young people both academically and developmentally, including those aged 14-16.
    Experience of positively managing learner progress in an education setting, including those aged 14-16.
    Ability to work positively and effectively as a member of a team and on own initiative.
