We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Construction team based in the North of the UK.



Location: North - hybrid working available, with travel to the offices as and when required

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Management Accountant, you'll be working within the Kier Construction team, supporting them in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to underpin business decisions.

Your day-to-day will include:

-Delivering month-end reporting with quality, timely and accurate information, ensuring controls and reconciliations are in place.

-Gathering and analysing monthly variances to forecast, supported with commentary for material issues.

-Producing monthly overhead analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

-Supporting quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.

-Driving continuous improvements and best practice across reporting.



What are we looking for?

This role of Management Accountant is great for you if:

-You are a fully qualified accountant with post-qualification experience

-You can produce high-quality management information and have strong systems skills (Oracle and Power BI preferred).

-You are capable of liaising with, supporting and influencing operational/commercial management.

-You can work on your own initiative and ideally have construction industry experience.

-You are technically capable, commercially aware, and flexible to travel as necessary.
