LOCATION: Lordswood, Medway, Kent

SALARY: £31,000 per annum

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of autistic adults? Newton Close is The Kent Autistic Trust's newest supported living development. and we're looking for a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team!

ABOUT US:

Welcome to Newton Close, a beautifully redeveloped site in Lordswood, offering five high-spec, modern flats designed to meet the unique needs of autistic adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. Our mission is to provide exceptional care and support in a community setting.

YOUR ROLE:

As an Assistant Manager, you will:

o Collaborate with the onsite Registered Manager and Team Leaders to recruit, retain, and develop staff.
o Provide regular supervisions and competency assessments.
o Work closely with the QA team and Operations Manager.
o Lead one of three teams, providing support and oversight to all teams.
o Build positive and engaging relationships with tenants, families, staff, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
o Ensure continuity and consistency in the quality of care.

ABOUT YOU:

o A natural leader with solid supervisory skills and a coaching mindset.
o Prior experience in the adult social care sector, ideally with autism or learning disabilities.
o Excellent problem-solving skills.
o IT literacy and confidence with digital systems.
o A driver comfortable with driving company vehicles, including a small minibus.- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
