Hays are working in conjunction with a growing business based in Telford who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Support / Projects Trainee to join our Projects Department. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment while gaining hands-on experience in project coordination and customer engagement.
Your new role
In your role your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation and folders in line with company procedures.
- Support internal production meetings and track follow-up actions.
- Communicate with customers regarding project requirements, including technical drawings, samples, and shipping details.
- Manage inbound production test samples and coordinate sample storage and distribution.
- Liaise with internal departments including Engineering, Production, and Service.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience teams to enhance service delivery.
- Escalate issues and complaints appropriately.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Adhere to the company's Quality Management System (QMS) at all times.
- Perform additional duties within skill and competence range as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Education to Level 3 (essential)
- Willingness to pursue Level 4 / HNC or equivalent (essential)
- Education to Level 4 (desirable but not essential)
- Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ambitious and growth-oriented mindset
