Summary

Purchase Ledger Clerk

Search are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a business in Dewsbury to be a part of the finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail and experience in accounts payable to contribute to a busy and supportive finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing payment runs and handling queries from suppliers
  • Assisting with general finance administration as required
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and finance systems
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

This will be a full time position working fully on-site in a supportive, friendly office. They will be free on-site parking and hours will be 8:30-4:30pm. The salary of this role will be paid on an hourly rate equivalent to £26,000-£28,000 depending on experience.
