Hospitality Manager (Care Home)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: up to £30,000

We are currently looking for a Hospitality Manager to join our client’s luxury care home. The ideal candidate will be passionate and dedicated to overseeing the hospitality and guest services functions. This role involves ensuring that residents, families, and visitors experience a welcoming, comfortable, and engaging atmosphere.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in hospitality, ideally within hotel or nursing home, and will demonstrate exceptional communication, organisational, and leadership abilities. They will play a pivotal role in creating a meaningful and inclusive environment that enhances the lives of residents.

  • Superior organisational skills with excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety, health, and hygiene standards (training available if needed).
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for designing and organising activities and events to enrich residents' experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee hospitality operations, including dining services, events, and resident engagement programmes, delivering exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Partner with care home leadership to develop a community-focused and welcoming environment tailored to the needs of residents and their families.
  • Regularly interact with residents and families, gathering feedback to address concerns and implement service improvements.
  • Supervise and inspire hospitality staff, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, meals, and activities that encourage social interaction and community involvement for residents.
  • Collaborate with kitchen, maintenance, and housekeeping teams to ensure efficient operations and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain strong organisational practices, completing tasks and projects efficiently within managed timelines.
  • Uphold the care home’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, catering to the diverse needs, cultures, and abilities of residents and their families.
