Delivering even greener veg - We’re in the process of swapping diesel vans to electric, with the ambitious goal of being 100% electric vans for low-emission deliveries to our customers!
This role is an 8 week fixed term contract, 16 hours per week - Working Saturdays and Sundays, which is inclusive of Bank Holidays.
Location: Wash Barn, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU
Pay: £12.65 per hour, plus an additional 67p per hour when hours exceed 8pm
What you’ll be doing…
Our Recipe Box department is now well established and is growing rapidly both in terms of the range of boxes we offer and the increase we are seeing in our weekly box sales.
Working in a very quick moving and exciting department; you will be trained to prepare, weigh and package all the ingredients required for each recipe, before carefully packing them to make up our finished recipe box.
Reporting to the team leader and skilled operatives, this role involves working in different areas and environments throughout the day from our high care ambient temperature ingredient preparation room, our main production line and our chilled preparation areas.
As the recipe box department strives to best meet our customers’ expectations and adapts to our new working areas we are looking for team members who can maintain an enthusiastic, flexible and professional approach.
This role will demand excellent communication skills, a strong level of numeracy and will require an eye for accuracy and detail.
What we’re looking for
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a production or warehousing environment
Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
You must be able to lift and manoeuvre crates of produce and veg boxes
You should have good communication skills and be able to speak and understand English to a level that enables you to comprehend instructions and the daily requirements of the role
