HGV Technician / Mechanic – Worcester
We’re seeking an experienced and qualified HGV Workshop Technician to join a respected logistics company based in Worcester. The business operates several depots across the UK and is recognised for delivering reliable, high-quality transport and logistics solutions.

As part of a busy and well-equipped workshop, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a modern fleet of Mercedes and DAF HGVs, as well as tri-axle trailers. This role offers excellent long-term stability and the chance to work within a supportive, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on HGVs and trailers

Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults

Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, compliant, and meet DVSA standards

Work efficiently both independently and as part of a small workshop team

Maintain accurate records and complete all job-related documentation

Follow all Health & Safety policies and promote safe working practices

Working Hours
Monday to Friday (rotating shifts):

Week 1: 06:00 – 14:30

Week 2: 12:00 – 20:30
Alternate Saturdays: 07:00 – 12:00
On-call rota: Additional payment provided

Requirements
Recognised qualification in HGV mechanics (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)

Valid HGV licence (essential)

Proven experience working on HGVs and trailers

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach to work
