We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager (L3, L6, QTS, EYTS - essential). This is an excellent opportunity for an existing third in charge or high-performance room leader to showcase their leadership and management skills and it can be a great steppingstone in your career! We welcome applications from those with relevant experience as Early Years Teachers, Early Years Educators and Nursery Nurses. Pay scales are higher for those with Early Years Teacher Status.

Day to day
• To be jointly responsible for the day-to-day and operational running of the Nursery
• To understand and be able to teach the Seahorse curriculum and educational programmes.
• To support the team to fulfil their roles in working with children, working with parents, and working with team.
• To ensure the Nursery is successfully promoting and supporting the children’s personal development, behaviour, health, and welfare
• Provide an inclusive environment for colleagues, children and visitors
• Safeguard the children: safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility
Requirements:
• Early Years Practitioner (qualified - L3, L6, QTS, EYTS - essential)
• 2 years plus experience working in a nursery setting (essential)
• Looking for a meaningful job and passionate about child education
• Positive attitude
• Available to work all year round
• Suitable references and DBS checks
