Summary
£23ph - 3 Months intially
To deliver the strategic aims set out in the Homelessness Strategy to promote and coordinate the prevention of homelessness.
Provide members of the public with expert, professional, comprehensive advice and information on all aspects of housing, in line with Council policy and service standards.
Proactively identify the housing options available for the public to empower them to prevent homelessness.
To resolve all applications by persons presenting themselves as homeless or threatened with homelessness under the statutory responsibilities from the Housing Act 1996 Part VI and VII. To ensure that all claims are determined within the statutory time scales and provide applicants with excellent customer care and information, help and advice to resolve their housing situations as quickly and compassionately as possible.
