We have an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Administrator to join the team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
The Medical Education Department is responsible for developing, managing and delivering a range of high quality and cost effective medical educational services within the Trust to specifications required by the General Medical Council, NHS England Workforce, Training & Education, Kent Surrey & Sussex, associated Medical Schools and the Trust’s strategic and operational framework. The successful applicant will work within the Undergraduate Team within the Medical Education Department.
The Year 4 Undergraduate Administrator will have a number of key duties and responsibilities in all aspects of organising, coordinating and supporting Medical Students placements at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and team working skills as well as the ability to work on their own initiative. They need to be able to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing situations.
The position is for 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
The Year 4 Undergraduate Medical Education Administrator will work primarily as part of the Undergraduate Medical Education Team consisting of the Undergraduate Manager, Deputy Undergraduate Manager and three Administrators to support the Undergraduate programme within the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The role is based at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
The post holder will have lead responsibility for the planning, coordination and support of Year 4 Medical Students on placement from Kent and Medway Medical School and Kings College London.
