Roles available in Bracknell for 30 hours per week & Maidenhead for 22.5 hours per week. Part time roles.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Psychotherapist or CAT therapist interested in gaining additional invaluable skills and experience working in an adult mental health service.
The role involves assessing and treating patients referred for psychotherapy as well as offering your expertise to the wider multidisciplinary team. You will have a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of brief psychotherapies and have skills in psychological assessment and formulation of complex presentations, which may be treated by a range of evidence-based psychological interventions in adult mental health services. You will be part of NHS Trust that is dedicated towards creating a progressive, warm and friendly environment for service users.

• You will work as a valued member of theCMHT inBracknell and/or Maidenheadas well asbeing a part of Berkshire’swiderPsychological Therapiesteam.
• You will provide a highly specialist psychological service to users presenting with severeandcomplex mental health difficulties requiring multiple interventions,or usersrequiringcomplexorintensive risk management plans andhigh levelsof multiagency work.
• You willinitiatethe safe deliveryof psychotherapy interventions,support other evidence-based interventions, and contribute to the multidisciplinary teams withinone of the twolocalitiesandwithinwider Trust services.
• You will be reliable and knowledgeable,andyou will have great IT skills and be familiar with variousITsystems and software packages.
• You will need access to your owncar andbe able to travel independently across Berkshirewhen needed.The requirement will be for you to be present at base or available to attend,everydayyou are employed.

The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role:
• Significant experience working as a qualified Psychotherapist (or accredited CAT therapist), with professional accreditation and registration with UKCP as a psychotherapist or with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
• An enhanced DBS check.
