The Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust has the largest NHS

decontamination facility in the UK, which is based in Enfield.

Avacancy has become available for a Driver Team Leader and the shift pattern is as follows:

Tuesday 05:00 -13:00

Wednesday to Saturday 12:00 - 20:00

Sunday and Monday day off.

You will be paid an enhancement for working unsociable hours and weekends.

To daily manage an allocated team, liaising with the logistics manager to ensure delivery schedules are met,and will be required to have the following:
• A clean driving license category C1 and if you passed your test on or after 1st January 1997 category B.
• Previous van driving experience up to 3.5 tons and SWB transit vans.
• Experience of delivering to multi drop locations
• Experience of customer relations and problem solving
• Experience of organising loads and routes

On arrival for interview a DVLA licence check will take place, if the checks are satisfactory the interview will take place.

· Overseeandparticipateinthecollectionanddeliveryofsurgicalequipment,sterileandunsteriletoandfromall surgicaldepartments,wardsetc.



· Collection/deliveryofstoreroomsupplies.



· Performadministrativetasksandensureaccurateworklogsarekeptinrelationtogoodstransportedandvehiclesused.



· Dispatchandtoassistthe technicianoperatorofautoclave,tooperatetheporousloads,sterilisers.



· Ensureallvehiclesaresafe,cleanandroadworthyatall times.



· Ensureall staffareadheringtoapplicableprocedures,PPEandhealthandsafetyprotocols.



· Arrangedrivercoverrotasandensurealldeliveryschedulesaremet.



· Portrayaprofessional,politeandcourteousapproachasarepresentativeoftheTrust.



· Provideemergencycoveronanyrouteonoff-dutydaysasandwhenrequired.



· Undertakeanyotherdutiesasdeterminedbythe needsofthe department.
