Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of local schools in Leek. This flexible supply role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability.
Your new roleAs a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils in their learning and development, working closely with teachers and other staff. You'll help deliver engaging lessons and provide one-to-one or small group support, including for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Each day brings new opportunities to positively impact young learners.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (e.g. care work)
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education
- Understanding or experience of working with SEN
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to working in different school settings
