Job Title: Tape and Jointer
Location: Worcester WR8
Rate: £20.00/ £21.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate Start

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Tape and Jointer for an ongoing project in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality tape and joint finishes on a variety of internal plasterboard surfaces, ready for decoration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Applying jointing tape (paper or mesh) to plasterboard joints and seams


  • Spreading multiple layers of jointing compound (filler) over taped areas and screw holes


  • Sanding and smoothing surfaces between coats to achieve a clean, even finish


  • Installing and finishing corner beads on external angles where required


  • Ensuring all work meets finishing standards ready for paint or decoration


  • Identifying and correcting any defects or surface imperfections


  • Following site health & safety procedures and maintaining a tidy workspace


  • Liaising with site supervisors and working effectively within a team or independently


    Requirements:
    • Proven experience as a Tape and Jointer


    • CSCS Card (valid)


    • Own tools and PPE


    • High standard of finish and attention to detail


    • Ability to work efficiently and to deadlines


    • Reliable, professional, and punctual
