Greenwich – Qualified Social Worker – Childrens - £37
To be able to support and attend the meeting such as ICPC, Placement Panel Meeting, chair professionals meetings on behalf of the SW’s where needed or in the absence of the TL/PM. • To support/ guide the staff with the court cases where appropriate. • To support the team leader/practice manager as needed to undertake senior social work tasks such as support with managing duty and assisting less experienced staff, this may include supervisory tasks, support with case direction, joint visits to families and co working cases. • To manage a complex case load, have clear threshold decision making skills, promote good quality social work across the team and to contribute to the learning culture • Provide reliable effective social work help and intervention to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in need so that children maintain a reasonable standard of health and development, receive reasonable parenting, and have a sense of permanence. Where a child is disabled take action to minimise the effect of their disabilities so they have the opportunity to lead lives as normal a life as possible.

Essential Requirements:
Degree/Masters in Social Work and SWE registration.
2+ years of post-qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of UK social care legislation and practice.
