Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Shunter in Bristol to work with our client, who is one of the UK's leading parcel distribution companies.
You must have your Class 1 driving licence and previous experience working as a Shunter would be preferrable to be considered for this role. Full training will be provided.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Shunting Class 1 vehicles around the yard
- Moving trailers
- Industry standard vehicle checks
You must have a strong knowledge of H&S requirements and be a proactive person.
Working Hours:
Full-time hours (Working Sunday to Thursday - 22:00 to 07:30)
As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and be able to monitor and keep your working hours accordingly.
About you:
You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. Infringements in the last 12 months must not exceed: (a) 12 (in any one month) or (b) Infringement points in any 3 consecutive months within the applicable period.
Ideally, you will have previous experience working as a Shunter, but full training can be provided. Either way, you must have 12 months experience driving Class 1 vehiucles commercially.
You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
