Summary
Telephonist required for busy taxi office in Rotherham.
Immediate start available for the right candidate.
20/25 hours per week minimum.
We are a 24/7 business and run 365 days per year so flexibility is very important.
This position is for afternoons and evenings and some weekend work may be needed and must be able to cover for sickness and holidays sometimes at short notice.
Must have good local knowledge and ideally have some computer skills.
Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Ideally applicants should live in the Rotherham area.
Duties will include:
• Taking telephone calls from customers.
• Data input into our computer systems.
• Taking immediate and advanced bookings, including out of town journeys.
• Dealing with customer enquiries.
Candidate skills:
• Confident and polite telephone manner.
• Excellent computer and keyboard skills.
• Excellent customer care skills.
• The ability to deal with difficult calls in a calm and professional manner.
• Good time-keeping and reliability.
• Positive attitude towards work.
• The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
